By purchasing products or services on Xanga, you agree to the Terms of Sale in effect at the time of purchase. Personal URLs, Xanga Credits and Xanga Minis are provided to you under the Xanga Terms of Use as well as this Terms of Sale (together the “Agreement”). Xanga reserves the right to make changes to the Agreement at any time without notice to you. Please visit Xanga Terms of Use and Xanga Terms of Sale to review the most recent versions.
Personal URLs
Xanga members may purchase Personal URLs, which can be used to map a custom domain name to an individual Xanga Site. Xanga members may register new domains through Xanga for use as Personal URLs (in which case the Personal URLs are provided under theDomain Registrant Agreement in addition to the Xanga Terms of Use and this Terms of Sale) or they may use existing URLs (which they already own and have registered on a site other than Xanga). Xanga currently accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover Card credit cards as forms of payment for Personal URLs. In the future, Xanga may also accept other forms of payment, including, but not limited to, PayPal, mailed-in personal checks (U.S. only) and certified bank checks or money orders (anywhere). Payments must be made in United States Dollars. A receipt for the purchase of Personal URLs will be emailed to the email address associated with your account at the time of the purchase. Personal URLs are non-refundable and cannot be transferred from one account to another. ALL SALES ARE FINAL.
Xanga Credits
Xanga members may purchase Xanga Credits, which can be redeemed for products and services, including Xanga Minis. Additionally, Xanga, in its sole discretion, may grant members credits for taking certain actions or attaining certain milestones, such as a giving or receiving comments. Xanga currently accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover Card credit cards as forms of payment for Xanga Credits. In the future, Xanga may also accept other forms of payment, including, but not limited to, PayPal, mailed-in personal checks (U.S. only) and certified bank checks or money orders (anywhere). Payments must be made in United States Dollars. Xanga Credits are non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash. Xanga Credits cannot be transferred directly from one account to another – although some Xanga Minis may come with a limited number of credits. When you redeem your credits for any Xanga products or services, your Xanga Credit balance will be reduced by the number of credits listed as the “price” of the product or service. A receipt for the purchase of Xanga Credits will be emailed to the email address associated with your account at the time of the purchase. Your current Xanga Credit balance will be displayed on both the Xanga Credit purchase page and the Xanga Minis gallery page. Xanga Credits do not expire. However, if you do not use your Xanga Credits within three years from the date of purchase or you shut down your site with Xanga Credits remaining, Xanga may redeem the Xanga Credits by sending Xanga Minis to new Xanga members. ALL SALES ARE FINAL.
Xanga Minis
Xanga Minis is a service for creating enhanced comments that consists of an icon (either an image or a Flash-based file) and an associated text message to accompany comments left on other members’ sites. Unless specified otherwise by the recipient (either through an account setting or through codes added to the recipient’s Xanga Site), Xanga Mini icons will appear next to the comment with which you gave the Mini and may be seen on the recipient’s private home page or other account pages. They will also appear in alerts and logs accessible to the recipient. The Xanga Mini may be deleted or hidden by the recipient and certain Xanga Minis may remain on the site for only a stated, set period of time to be determined by Xanga in its sole discretion. Use of the service grants you no rights. The use of the Xanga Minis service does not grant you or the recipient any ownership rights of any kind in the Xanga Mini icon and may not be reproduced, transferred, or modified in any manner. The Xanga Minis service is for personal use only.
